심현지 작가는 전통 한국 민화의 용, 해태 등을 활용하여 벽사구복(僻邪求福 : 좋은 일을 오게 하고 나쁜 것을 막음), 출세, 부귀, 장수 등의 의미를 작품에 담았다. 전통 이미지를 밝은 색상과 귀엽고 익살스러운 캐릭터로 변형하여 누구나 일상에서 행복한 순간을 경험하기를 바라는 염원을 표현했다.

Artist Hyun-ji, Sim utilizes traditional Korean folk motifs, such as Haetae and Dragons, to convey themes of byeoksa gubok (warding off evil and inviting good fortune), success, wealth, and longevity. By transforming these traditional images into bright, cute, and whimsical characters, she expresses a desire for everyone to experience moments of happiness in their everyday lives.
